Family Learning
Family Learning aims to raise the level of home support by informing parents about what and how their child is learning in school. It enables parents to provide a background of support for numeracy and literacy at home, and to see the potential that ordinary, everyday activities and play can offer for hands on experience.
Family Learning aims to help parents understand how the foundation phase works in school and offers parents the chance to positively influence their child’s attitudes and aspirations in numeracy and literacy. Family involvement motivates children to become lifelong learners.
