Year 2 have been learning about the UNCRC rights of the child. They have made a film to teach you about the rights and shared it with their parents in Silverbirch's class assembly.

Sally Holland, Children's Commissioner for Wales was very impressed.

Well done Year two for successfully completing a block of swimming.

All children conquered a personal challenge whether it was swimming with a float, jumping from a diving board, swimming with clothes on or blowing bubbles under the water.

They worked so hard. Their behaviour was impeccable and they want to swim every day!

This year we are asking that you complete a creative project using Usk Castle as a stimulus. Suggestions are a sketch, a model and a painting. Feel free to be as imaginative as you want to be.
